About the game
Chef Gustavo flings food from his shelf and you catch it with a stack of pots. Drag anywhere on the lower half of the screen to move the pots. Catch everything, but let the knives fall! Each wave gets faster, and every five waves the kitchen changes.
Help
How do I play?
Put a finger anywhere on the lower half of the screen and slide it left and right. The pots follow your finger, so your finger never hides them. Any pot in the stack can catch food. Missing food costs a pot. Catching a knife costs a pot too, so let knives fall. You win a pot back every 1,000 points (up to three). The game ends when all your pots are gone.
What are Beginner, Normal and Hard?
Beginner is the classic game. On Normal, food falls a little faster and wall fans blow it sideways from wave 3. Hard is faster again, with fans from wave 2 and kitchen blackouts from wave 4. Each difficulty has its own best score and Game Center leaderboard.
What is “Keep cooking”?
Once per game, when you lose your last pot, you can get one pot back and carry on from the same wave. In the free version you watch a short ad for it. With Remove Ads it's free.
I bought Remove Ads. How do I get it on a new iPhone, or after reinstalling?
Open the game, tap the Settings (gear) button, then Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account you bought it with. You don't pay again.
I don't hear any sound.
Like most games, Oops Chef! follows your iPhone's Silent Mode. Turn Silent Mode off, and check that Sound effects is on in the game's Settings. Music starts switched off; turn on Music in Settings if you'd like it.
My scores don't show on Game Center.
Sign in to Game Center in your iPhone's Settings › Game Center, then open the game again. The Ranks button on the main menu shows the leaderboards. Scores you made while signed out are still on the game's own Scores list.
How do I change my ad and privacy choices?
In the EU, UK and Switzerland, open the game's Settings › Privacy choices. To allow or stop ad tracking on any iPhone, go to the iPhone's Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. The privacy policy explains what's collected.
Can I reset my scores?
Your best scores and the Scores list are kept only on your iPhone. Deleting the app deletes them. If you bought Remove Ads, restore it after reinstalling (see above).
